What is Red Star Tribune?
Red Star Tribune was started by Matthew J. Hunter and Danny Estrada as a platform to be an archive of their political and community organizing work. However, it has evolved to cover more original news and theory, and is now expanding to book publishing. We cover history and news from a working class and socialist perspective. It is still meant to be an extension of real-life community organizing and other outlets and platforms we do work with often, such as People’s World and Geese Magazine.
